Game Rules

Crimson Syndicate (crimsonsyndicate.se) is a free browser-based crime RPG. By playing, you agree to follow these rules. Failure to comply may result in warnings, mutes, or bans.

1. General Conduct

Treat others with respect. Crimson Syndicate is a game—keep competition in-character and avoid personal attacks. Do not harass, bully, or demean other players based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Keep chat and interactions civil.

2. Fair Play

• No multi-accounting. One account per person. Creating or using multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.
• No botting or macros. Do not use automated scripts, bots, or third-party tools to play the game. Play manually.
• No exploiting bugs. If you find a bug, report it. Do not exploit known or unknown bugs for personal gain.

3. Account Security

• Do not share your account with anyone. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Do not buy, sell, or trade accounts. Account trading violates our terms and will result in permanent bans.

4. Chat & Communication

• No spam. Avoid flooding chat, repetitive messages, or excessive caps.
• No advertising. Do not promote external sites, services, or games unless permitted by staff.
• No real-world threats. Threats of violence, doxxing, or harm—even in jest—are taken seriously and will result in immediate action.
• Language expectations: We expect reasonable language in public channels. Excessive profanity may be moderated.

5. Bug Reporting

If you discover a bug or vulnerability, please report it to staff. Responsible disclosure helps keep the game fair for everyone.

• Include steps to reproduce, what you expected, and what actually happened.
• Do not abuse the bug before or after reporting.
• We may offer in-game rewards for valid, responsibly disclosed bugs at our discretion.

6. Punishment System

Violations are handled on a tiered basis, though serious breaches may skip tiers:

1. Warning: First minor infraction; formal notice on record.
2. Mute: Temporary chat restriction for repeat or moderate violations.
3. Temporary ban: Account suspension for a set period.
4. Permanent ban: Permanent account termination for serious or repeated violations.

7. Staff Interactions

• Respect staff decisions. Moderators and administrators act in the best interest of the community.
• If you believe a decision was wrong, you may appeal via the designated appeal process. Do not argue in public chat.
• Impersonating staff or claiming staff authority is prohibited.

8. Real Money Transactions

• Virtual items, currency, and in-game assets have no real-world value.
• Do not buy or sell in-game items, accounts, or services for real money. Such transactions are prohibited and may result in account termination.
